OGX Experience sharing with ex-LCVPOGX NTU Singapore

Today Nethangi Fernando and Dimuthu Ponnamperuma of the Out-going exchange (OGX) dept. in AIESEC USJP had an experience sharing session with Aravinda Karunarathne - ex-LCVPOGX of AIESEC NTU , Singapore. He is currently the global partnerships manager of AIESEC Singapore.

Aravinda shared his expertise on how to handle exchange participants, supply-demand management in OGX, Realities for OGX in Sri Lanka, Opportunities for OGX growth in Sri Lanka and what Sri Lanka can learn from Singapore.

Following is AIESEC NTU OGX performance over the years. We can all see the change Aravinda has made in OGX in AIESEC NTU in the leadership term 2008-09.

Membership comprises of 25-35 active members from Science, Management, Arts and Medical faculties.

University of Sri Jayewardenepura is a leading University of Sri Lanka, world famous for it’s’ faculty of management which intakes the best management students in Sri Lanka.

Recently AIESEC in Japura is growing fast in several fronts. We organized the famous Sri Lanka NATCON 2009 and we have a over 500% exchange growth in the year 0910.
